Recommendations for 2026–2028 Council Officers
The bylaws of the Miami-Dade County Council PTA/PTSA provide that each local unit PTA/PTSA in membership with the Council, as well as each member of the Council Executive Board, may submit recommendations of names to be considered for the slate of officers.
Only members of a local PTA/PTSA whose national, state, and council dues are current are eligible to hold office or serve on a council committee. The bylaws further state that no individual may serve more than one consecutive two-year term in the same office.
For your information, Name / Current Position and Name / Current Position are not eligible to be nominated for the same office.

Instructions for Submitting Recommendations
- Use the provided link, the attached form, or a plain sheet of paper to list the names you wish to recommend.
- When recommending an individual not currently serving as an officer, please include the individual’s résumé as an email attachment and send it to
nominations@mdccpta.net. - Complete the attached form and submit recommendations via email or U.S. Postal Service mail no later than February 20, 2026.
